Equal Employment Opportunity Policy Statement
SPACE on Ryder Farm is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer committed to a culturally diverse workforce in compliance with all applicable laws as well as moral and ethical standards of equality. We are proud to recognize each person as an individual and do not discriminate against applicants or employees because of race, color, religion, creed, sex, gender identity or expression, national origin, citizenship, alienage, age, disability, predisposing genetic characteristic, sexual orientation, military status, marital or partnership status, or any other protected status under local, state or federal law. This policy extends to all persons in all aspects of the employment relationship including, but not limited to, recruitment, hiring, promotion, termination, reduction in force, transfer, leaves of absence, benefits, compensation, and training.
Statement of Employment Policy
Neither this Handbook nor any other SPACE document confers any contractual right; either express or implied, to remain in SPACE’s employ. While we hope your association with SPACE will be long and mutually beneficial, your employment with SPACE is “at will” and may be terminated at any time with or without cause and without prior notice.
Policy of Non-discrimination Against Individuals With Disabilities
SPACE on Ryder Farm is committed to complying with all applicable provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (“ADA”), its amendments, and equivalent state and local laws. It is SPACE’s policy not to discriminate against any qualified employee or applicant with regard to any terms or conditions of employment because of such individual’s disability or perceived disability so long as the employee can perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation. Consistent with this policy of non-discrimination, SPACE will provide reasonable accommodations to qualified individuals with a disability, as defined by the ADA and its equivalent state and local laws, who have made SPACE aware of their disability, provided that such accommodations do not constitute an undue hardship on SPACE.
Employees with a disability who believe they need a reasonable accommodation to perform the essential functions of their job should contact the Executive Director or Chief Operating Officer.
