Institutional Residencies provide 501c(3) organizations and creative teams with time and space for the writing or workshopping of commissions, strategic planning, and retreat opportunities away from the hustle and bustle.

Residencies are centered around three communal meals daily and residents have the flexibility to structure their days to best suit their needs and goals. We offer flexible residency lengths, a sliding scale residency fee based on organizational budget, and optional opportunities that allow residents to develop deeper relationships with Ryder Farm and each other.

Institutional Residencies are offered on a first come, first serve basis. Offers are made based on availability and SPACE's ability to meet the requirements of the residency. Upon receipt of the interest form, SPACE will be in contact to confirm details and dates.

What’s Included

Institutional Residencies include overnight accommodations, three meals a day prepared by an onsite chef, access to all onsite working spaces, and wifi.

SPACE has sleeping accomodations for up to five individuals. Each room is private but will share a restroom. During certain seasons additional bedrooms may be available.

Eligibility & Requirements

Institutional residencies are available to all 501c(3) organizations and creative teams.

Generally, we require three people minimum for a residency. However, if two institutions are willing to share a residency week, we may be able to accommodate pairs. The minimum length of stay is three days and the standard stay is around six days. Please inquire if a longer stay is desirable. Arrival and departure days are half days.
